Maybe you have decided that you would like to make money on the Internet. Perhaps that will allow you more freedom, more time with the family or whatever, or perhaps life has conspired, now making it as necessity. Whatever your reason then it is perfectly possible to make your income working from home and by using little more than your regular PC and a big piece of determination. The beauty of Internet Marketing as a business is that it can provide a real and worthwhile income and the necessary skills can be learned and just as importantly applied. Best of all is it "can be done" with a low cost or even no cost start-up, providing you have some basics already to hand. Electricity and phone/modem are "costs" for sure but you're probably paying for them already. With monthly all-in bills for telephone and Internet, these costs need not rise at all in fact with so much work being done on line and by e-mail then your phone bill might actually reduce. What is the Basic Equipment needed? 1. A decent modern computer with some reasonable, memory, speed and an on line capability.
2. A text-editing program like notepad or word, nothing unusual and possibly already built in.
3. A telephone connection and a modem to get you on line. Modem speed - the faster the better. 4. Cd's for back ups or memory sticks.
5. ??? That's it. Sure - It would be better to have a printer, a scanner, a fax machine, a video camera etc etc and hey you might just have all of those as well but you don't need them to start with! I have all of these things but I didn't buy any of them to do Internet marketing and I don't even keep my printer plugged in. I have an office, desk, filing cabinet, and a swivel chair and all that but I like to work in the living room with my notebook computer on the coffee table in front of the TV. (Wireless modem comes in really handy). Oh Yeah! - Notepads and a pencil to jot down your ideas. One important thing for sure, if you cannot print and file important things like your passwords, sales copy, account details for the myriad of schemes that you will become a part of, then you must back up your important work. It's not for "if your machine crashes" but for "when it crashes"! If you are reading this on line then you probably already have the basics for Internet Marketing or at least access to them. If not and you are determined enough to begin Making Money on the Internet then it is even possible to start from your Internet Cafe' or Public Library, anywhere that you can be on line for a reasonable amount of time without interruption. Read as much as you can about Internet marketing, written by the Internet marketers themselves, many of whom will impart good and free information to guide you the Newbie. Many will prompt you to sign up for their products that seemingly promise a vast and rapid income. I am sure you will be sorely tempted by some of these products, designed to appear genuine and making rock solid promises to people just like you. As a newbie, you will not be able to make these schemes work because you have not yet learned the basics! It can be likened to being offered a place at University when you haven't even started school yet. Did I mention product? NO? OK. Well to make some money on-line you will need to be selling something Right? Remember with Internet marketing you don't need a shop or an office, you don't need to carry any stock or employ anyone at all, but when Working from Home - Making Money on the Internet you do need to have something that people are willing to pay you for. Then you will need to sign up for and build your web site. You can make your first site and get a few sites up for FREE and it need cost you absolutely nothing to start out. Even if you have never built a website before do not be afraid. "If I can do it so can you"!
